The Challenge
In this living and dining space design idea challenge the designers were asked to assist Samantha who loves Westelm. She was investing in their sustainable decor for her new living space. Designers found the products that she had her eye on in the room & had full creative freedom to design the rest. They were asked to bear in mind that Samantha;
- Loves soft pinks & neutrals;
- Wants to host dinner parties; &
- A cosy living space is a priority!
Before and After
The winning design, as voted for by our Instagram followers, created an inspiring pink modern living and dining room space, using the Room Creator App. The design shows how careful placement of furniture & accessories can bring a room to life.
This cleverly designed space has embraced Samantha’s love of pink & neutrals. The room is encased in a harmonious pink wall colour with a white nucleus in each of the carefully set out functional spaces. The living space is defined using the large pink rug to make out the area that has been created with the white corner sofa & footstool delivering the cosy feel.
The wall art & the mirror provide a texture to the walls and deliver additional talking points throughout the space. The beautiful table lamp on the dining table also adds a creative look to the space.
