Contemporary Focus
In this kitchen/ living design idea challenge the designers were asked to support Teddy who was investing in a Nobilia kitchen but was struggling to finalise the design. They had to create a concept for Teddy taking into consideration his love of everything modern.

The winning design, as voted for by our Instagram followers, has created a contemporary kitchen/ living idea that is inspirational, using the Room Creator App. It shows how lightening the colour palette of the room by adding in white furniture can really make a difference.
There are so many great features in this room idea from the addition of the gold artwork to the sideboard. With decor items neatly positioned opposite the the galley kitchen. Our favourite has to be the classy addition of the wall mounted fireplace, available from Wayfair. The fireplace has provided not only a great focal point for the living area in this concept, but it also provides balance in the space.
While this design is outstanding it should also be noted that it retained many of the great layout features of the starting design such as the use of a sofa to clearly set out the living area.
