In this design concept the room creators were challenged with supporting Casey who has invested in some sustainable Habio furniture for her living space. Casey is a go getter, she aims high in her career and personal life, and always delivers. She craved a relaxed lounge design to unwind and let go of all the plates she spins.
That said she couldn’t decide whether to go bright, strong and punchy or neutral, cool and serene. It was up to the designers to decide!

Our Instagram followers, voted for this as the winning design. This relaxed lounge design created an inspiring luxury modern living room with art deco touches, using the Room Creator App. The design shows true creativity in moving from an empty room to a beautiful room.
The room has a great layout with three clearly defined spaces within, namely the seating, console and sideboard storage areas. The seating area forms the central part of the room & has been marked with the clever use of the rug.
This living room design maintains a gold framed thread across the three key areas of the room. It starts with the glamorous art deco style wire frame console table below gold grid mirror and glides across to the marble topped square coffee table and finishes across the room with the white and gold sideboard. The gold framed modern pictures above the sideboard provide a balance to mirror on the facing wall.
The clever placement of the the plants lifts the room and brings nature into the space without over whelming it. The positioning of the accent chair in the opposite corner of the room as it provides great balance.
