The Challenge
In this design challenge the designers were tasked with supporting Izzy who was excited about her new open plan living, dining, kitchen space in her new flat in North London. She seriously needed help as all she and her fiancé, Ian, couldn’t agree on is this beautiful lighting from Good Mojo. Designers had to help Izzy plan out some super chilled, inviting zoned areas.
Before and After
The winning design, as voted for by our Instagram followers, created an inspiring open plan kitchen diner space with living room. This room in neutral earthy vibes created from an empty room, using the Room Creator App. The design shows how careful placement of furniture & accessories can create purposeful living zones within a space as well as bring it to life.
This cleverly designed space has embraced Izzy love of the lighting style with the careful placement of wall, ceiling and table lamps. The gorgeous dining room table and chair are a delightful addition to the room as is the corner sofa with the accent cushions bringing out the best features within the room.
It is hard to decide which of the features we like more: the reading corner with the delightful glass lamp, grey accent chair and matching footstool or the golden blinds that really lift the space and provide that all important continuity. We also love the use of the table lamp upon the worktop of the kitchen island.
This is a fantastic virtual 3d room design which has met Izzy’s requirements and is sure to delight Ian and get him onboard with the new lighting!
