Manchester Student Bedroom
Our designers were challenged to support Acacia, who had found the perfect flat for her final year at Art college, make her bedroom work better for her. Her mum had just treated her to a beautiful Ercol Lugo bookshelf as a present but she still needed more storage and wanted a new colour scheme. Designers had to help her find a spot for her new bookshelf, add more storage and give the room a new colour scheme using the Room Creator App.
Before and After
The top design has made many subtle changes to this bedroom idea that has resulted in a much more inviting room. The designer has located the new bookshelf perfectly so that despite its size it does not impose upon the room. The additional storage provided by the boho style chest of drawers achieves Acacia’s requirement for the new design.
One of the things we loved about this design was the creation of the feature wall which links to the art work & other decor products carefully placed across the design. The green wall is perfectly on trend with today’s fashion and the simplisticity of the white walls adds to this strong statement
The additional plants within the room and the modern new black metal pendant lights enhance the overall look of the room without over complicating it.
We think this is a great job of using the Signaturize Home Decor App to show how easy it is to make subtle changes and keep a double bedroom idea simple.
